Chipmunk Habitat can be used to tame and display Chipmunks.

Placing a Chipmunk Habitat will initially show a green ring on the ground. The collection range also reaches upward, meaning it can gather drops from "stacked" habitats in customized coop layouts indicating the range of the collection ability. Grass might need to be turned off in settings to see the ring more clearly.
Items collected by a Chipmunk can be accessed by opening the habitat. They will collect fruit from trees and bushes as well as seaweed from Seaweed Poles.
Note that Chipmunks will collect fruit in the wild as well as from trees/bushes the player plants. The game will not let you place a Chipmunk Habitat in range of Bruce's Passion Tree, but you can place one just outside of the tree farm area and use the shifter to get it into position.
