Ferns are leafy ground plants found in the wild. They are part of the environment, and cannot be collected as an in-game item.

Harvesting

The player can harvest Ferns to receive Plant Fiber. Occasionally they will also find Small Insects or a rare Four Leaf Clover.

• Harvesting Ferns costs no energy.
• Gathering Plant Fiber and making Paper to sell is an quick way to make money early game.

A harvested Fern will respawn in 1-2 days.

Appearance

Ferns can be found in 5 variations, but there is no difference other than visual appearance and size. Ferns 1 & 2 are small, 3 & 4 are medium sized, and 5 is large.
