Hay is a feed item that can used to tame certain animals.
Obtaining[]
Hay does not naturally spawn in the world. Instead the player must collect Tall Grass from the Forest Region and leave it overnight either in the Drying Table in the Barn, or the craftable Drying Rack. In the morning it will have turned into Hay.
1x Tall Grass becomes 1x Hay.
Use[]
Hay can be fed to animals in order to:
- Tame adult Sheep, Goats, Horses, and Hippos in the wild
- Raise Lambs, Baby Goats, Baby Alpacas, Foals, and Calfs in a Barn
