Hippos are tameable wild animals that can be used as mounts.
Two large and one small Hippo can be found on Hippo Island, in the northern area of Florens.

Hippos can be tamed by feeding them Hay for 15 consecutive days and bringing them to a Forest Habitat or Barn to be named.
It is also possible to win a Hippo from a Festival minigame, an Animal Mystery Box, or an Animal Mystery Bag.
As mounts Hippos run slightly faster than the player, but have the same jump height.
